Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrive at Bagdogra and Drive to Phuentsholing
Welcome to Bhutan - The Land of the Thunder Dragons! Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport, you will be greeted and driven to Phuentsholing. As you approach Hashimara, you will catch glimpses of the majestic Himalayan mountains beckoning you closer for the beautiful journey ahead. We will assist you with the procedures for obtaining your permit to enter Bhutan. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing
Day 2 :
Phuentsholing to Thimphu
After breakfast, we will under go an immigration process followed by a drive from Phuentsholing to Thimphu, the enchanting capital of Bhutan. Along the way, we will visit Kharbandi Gompa, also known as Rinchending Gompa. This historic Buddhist monastery was constructed with the guidance of the great Queen Mother Ashi Phuntsho Choden.Later, we will make a brief stop at Chuzom Bridge which offers stunning views of the confluence of Paro and Wangchu rivers. We will also stop for a fulfilling lunch at Paro followed by our drive to Thimphu. Upon arrival, check-in into your hotels, freshen up and head out for a walk in Thimphu. You can then spend the evening exploring the cafes, markets and vibrant nightlife of Thimphu over a delicious dinner.
Day 3 :
Thimphu sightseeing | Drive to Punakha
Rise and Shine! Today we will be heading for Thimpu Sightseeing which offers you an immersive journey through the rich heritage and lush landscapes of Bhutan. Start your journey by being awed by the Giant Buddha Statue shining bright under the morning sun. This 54m Shakyamuni Buddha Statue was constructed as a celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the fourth king. Later, we will head to the Simply Bhutan Museum, a living museum that showcases the country's heritage starting from its history, culture, beliefs and more. In the afternoon, we will set out on a scenic drive to Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan traversing through Tashichodzong View Point. For those seeking natural beauty, a visit to the Dochula Pass (10,200ft) is a must. This mountain pass is adorned with 108 stupas, each representing a fallen soldier. We will also visit an intriguing place of worship, Chemi Lhakang Temple which is also known as the fertility temple. Take a stroll through this monastery and learn all about its interesting history and culture. After, we will also explore the 180-meter Punakha Suspension Bridge hanging over the Po Chu river with thousands of prayer flags flowing in the wind. It is the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan and overlooks the confluence of Mo Chu and Po Chu, a male and female river that are considered to be sacred. Day 4 :
Punakha sightseeing | Drive to Paro
A beautiful day awaits you! After indulging in scrumptious breakfast, you will set out to explore Punakha. You will first visit the Punakha Dzong, which is a magnificent fortress that serves as a regional administrative center and a monastery. Walking through its grand courtyards, you'll be transported into Bhutan's rich cultural heritage, where centuries-old traditions meet the tranquility of nature. Later, we will head towards Paro after a delicious lunch en-route. Paro Market is also located in the heart of the town, the market is a bustling hub of activity, where you can explore the colorful stalls selling a variety handicrafts, souvenirs, local attires etc. After reaching Paro, you can head out to the main market to enjoy the buzzing night life, treat yourself to local delicacies and groove to great Rock n Roll! Day 5 :
Tiger Nest Monastery Hike
On the fifth day of your trip, you will explore the sights of Paro, including the Tiger Nest monastery, also known as Paro Taktsang. This sacred temple is perched on the edge of a cliff and is considered one of the most iconic landmarks in Bhutan. The inside of the temple is filled with intricate murals, ancient relics, and the peaceful ambiance of the monks' chants. The main temple houses a sacred statue of Guru Rinpoche, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism. After this incredible experience, you will return to your hotel and can also enjoy a Hot Stone Bath in the evening at designated areas. (At your own expense ) Overnight stay at Hotel in Paro
Day 6 :
Paro Sightseeing | Drive to Phuentsholing
Rise and Shine! Toady, after Breakfast, prepare yourself for more miracles that Paro has to offer. Our local sightseeing starts with Rinpung Dzong also known as the Paro Dzong, a massive monastery and fortress. After we will head to another iconic landmark in Paro, Ta Dzong, a historic fortress that has been converted into a national museum. It houses over 3000 artifacts and is about 1500 years old, taking a stroll across this place helps you understand more about the country making the overall journey even more enriching. Perched on a hilltop overlooking the town, Ta Dzong also offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes like River Mangde. After exploring Paro, we will drive back to Phuentsholing enjoying the picturesque views along the way and stopping at the Paro Airport View en-route. Upon reaching Phuentsholing, indulge in group bonding activities, relish in the joy of new friendships and treat yourself to finger licking food. Overnight Stay at Phuentsholing.
Day 7 :
Departure
After enjoying breakfast, it's time to check out from the hotel and make your way to Bagdogra Airport. You will have experienced the culture, traditions, and beauty of the country in a way that will stay with you for a lifetime.Hug each other goodbye and bid farewell to an incredible journey! Note: Book return flights after consulting with the trip coordinator. The passport should be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of return. A fixed airport transfer time is determined by the majority of group arrival and departure times. Early or late transfers will incur additional charges.
